Once a big club and now what they have to put up with week in week out must hurt, too many clubs have gone that way but I suppose that's football I guess, a good mate is a Coventry fan and he's never known it so bad in all his years supporting em, I do tell him there is another CCFC he could start following :bluescarf:

They were and to be fair to some of their fans they've stayed very loyal, their away support is excellent.

They never even had a ground to play at for a long time.

They take a 1,000 fans away in the lower divisions.

They had No home for over a year, had to play all home games away.

They've done nothing for 25 years.

sorry but having been a Cardiff fan for nearly fifty years mostly of poor times its difficult to feel sorry for a club a third of our size who spent most of that time at the top table having mickey mouse crowds.
we had crap owners and no money too.who felt sorry for us?

We would love it, but what have they done for years and years and once again modern football has destroyed them.

theyve done nothing but thats football, they were the luckiest club in Europe staying up for 34 years im sure many would swap. my kids were brought up on treats to Sheffield to watch us get thumped in the FA cup, and promotions followed by relegations, kids in coventry of the same age got to see gazza, cantona, bergkamp visit.
its called modern football now.what was it called when we were crap?

Problem is they're basically ran by a hedge fund, it could happen just as easily to the City. Venture capitalists now see football clubs as money making opportunities.
