Will be a few thousand more than normal- maybe 22k at best, but won't be 30k, that would be a record crowd for us at CCS.

The biggest attendance for a domestic game anywhere in wales or the west this season was us v wurzels (22700) .be good to top this. Not bad considering Trollope gave us our worst start in our entire history.

Re: " Aston Villa Home / Crowd "

19,000 - 21,000.

Re: " Aston Villa Home / Crowd "

Anything over 20,000 is a good crowd, think we'll get about 22/23.

Villa had 41k yesterday!

I think we will get 25,000.

We have a large floating fan base and everyone's off work.

Correct and it's the biggest game of the season and we have 250,000 CITY fans on our data base, not asking to much to get 30,000 crowd incl 3,500 VILLA fans :thumbright: :bluebird:

21/22k would be an impressive crowd given our current predicament and I don't think we will be far off, maybe more like 19/20k is realistic though, its a shame this fixture wasn't over the main festive period as most people and schools are back in work on Tuesday and I expect a lot of people will be spent out.

If it had been boxing day I think we could have pushed 25k+.

True, a Boxing Day match with a bank holiday after was perfect but should still get a decent crowd. It will be a good one.

Spot on. However, I'm looking forward to the day, and there are quite a few from the Rhondda going who haven't been all season. Let's hope for a decent performance to get them coming back regularly.

i'll be there. I know a few going too but i'll be suprised if there anything over 20/21k without any promos. What did we have at bristol, 23/24k? And that was a derby with a huge free ticket give away and a new manager!

They weren't spent out when we were in the Premier League?

Arsenal /Man United and Man City all away in Jan, sold out.

All home games sold out

Plus the rest of the Football League clubs will be getting big crowds.

Its 3pm on a Bank Holiday, not on tv, Aston Villa home :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

We should be realistically looking at 28,000 including 3,500 Aston Villa fans :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

You cant compare first games in years against Man Utd, Man City and Arsenal in the Premiership to Aston Villa at home in the Championship, people would have saved their money specificaly for those games, surely you can see that, everyone else can.

I don't understand why you have such unrealistic expectations when it comes to our crowds to be honest, seriously expecting us to get 28,000 is just crazy.

I think we will get around 20,000.
