Police don't get called for chanting :D . There was a stand off between a group of fans who attempted to get over to the directors box, they were stopped by stewards and police arrived to join a protective barrier including plain clothed officers who took up a positions behind them. Apparently the police were still guarding the exit up to half an hour after the game. My Mrs is a Jack and her Dad sits right by the directors box.

Haha still the same roathy, I thought you'd have enough to stay up but the last few games have changed my mind. Think you're down this year, sorry to say!

Us? We will finish lower mid table, 16th if I was to guess. As for the Jacks they are doomed, have been for a long time. A truly woeful squad and the worst team in the PL bar none. :thumbright:

I don't get to many games Melanie so doubt you will see me, unless you travel to the London games. I would also take the car and not the jet too. :thumbright:

Flatbush old boy the police were there before kick off as they feared there may be some angry scenes they were not called it was simply part of their match day preparation.

There was no group trying to get into the box they merely chanted obscenitys and some were ejected.

On BBC they even showed some of the board walking down from the box without any threats coming their way.

It's speaks volumes that on Planet Swamp one of the top posts currently is that the Swansea crowd isn't angry enough making reference to today at the crowd.

Now I know you Roathie would love to post on here about how Swansea fans took direct action against your "foreign" owners and chased them out of town unlike us "Cardiff but it's simply not happening.

So that is why you and bluebird87 have got your knickers in a twist? It didn't even cross my mind regarding a comparison of reactions to the owners, i was dead against Tan from the start so dont feel I have anything to be ashamed of, you both clearly feel undermined by that to blatantly lie about what happened today?

I have just had a look at planetswans and many are talking of the scenes in the directors box. The thread you are talking about was posted by someone who has stated he was not there and asked are they angry enough. I have major links to the club as half my family are jacks, 3 are ST holders. All I can say is what actually happened, its up to you to twist it to suit your own agenda or feelings of inadequacy (not to kention piles of paranoia). The police were not there from the start, that is a fact. It was a direct result of the group that trued to comfront Jenkins.

I know they weren't. There was just a handful of stewards. Police got called in by the stewards as well as plain clothed guards when fans attempted to confront Jenkins . This is simply what happened. You wanting to change that, i believe, is a reflection on your personal feelings. Your paranoia is also a sign you are not comfortable with this.

From walesonline (tad bit different to what roathie is spouting)

"Chairman Huw Jenkins left his seat with stewards watching his back and cries for the manager's head – and of general fan discontent – ringing in his ears. It was loud enough for any American beam-back to register with watching shareholders in the States too."

Different:

Walesonline : Jenkins left with stewards, cries for managers head.

Roathie: ugly scenes, police called in, fans storming directors box.

Now if you can't see the difference you have issues.

Yet more proof that Christine just makes stuff up.

What I have said is clear for all to see. Some supporters went to confront Jenkins and co, stopped by stewards. The police then joined in and created a barrier around the supporters box as well as un-uniformed body guards.

What you are quoting from the BBC is what happened after the final whistle as the directors left to jeers and abuse.

Your need to make stuff up is unfathomable.
