good enough for the bastards... every club goes through turmoil with new owners. Those chopsy wkers did nothing but ram it in us so I honestly hope they rot away now.

We have made our relationship work with the owner (but for the odd 50 or so that still hold grudges) and so for me it would be great to see them come down and keep going! Unfortunately the slimy bastards always find a way to wriggle out of it, just hope this time its gone too far

I kinda don't want them to come down. I would like to see at least one Welsh club in the top tier, preferbly us. I am enjoying their free fall, however, and I hope we get our act together and dick them all over the shop next season.

100% roathy, happy enough to take the American dollar at the start with the promise of transfer cash and investment. Now it's gone sour, you want out. Same scenario as us.

I don't think you will find one Swans fan happy at the prospect of the takeover no matter what you feel you need to invent to cover our own blushes. Lots to point and laugh at, their reaction to the takeover however is absolutely not one and it is well documented.

There was no "coming to light" regarding the nature of the deal - the supporters Trust (which is the fans by the way) clearly stated that there was no apparent investment but a personal share sale. This was after the Trust (again the fans) successfully scuppered the first American club sale to Moores and Noell. Nobody at the Liberty wanted the takeover apart from the board that was set to make a load of cash, to suggest otherwise is just pountless lying, and the very reason why they take the p*ss out of us for making stuff up all the time. Swansea were a fantastically run club, of that there is no doubt. However their board decided to sell their shares and cash in. The new owners did not invest in the playing staff and they have the worst squad in the PL as a result. That is the situation.

Then you kniw the only jacka on the planet happy with the takeover. They have a supporters trust which represents the feelings of their fans, they tried to stop the deal from the start and stated their discontent over the deal from the outset. No couple of fantasy fans in Cwmdu can reverse that I am afraid.

As for coming to an end, the run of successive PL seasons absolutely had to, and they are the worst side there this season, they deserve to go down. It remains to be seen what will happen from there. We would be best served having our own a,bitions to take over from where they are.

As I told Bluebird87. My Mrs and her family certainly were not happy at the takeover. They, along woth the trust and all the fans representatives clearly were against it from the start (and at the time they were top half). We can try to re-write history to make us feel better but at the end of the day basing stuff on wubjects that clearly arent true end up making us look bad rather than the subject you aim.

They were to a man against this take over and always have been, same as the initial American takeover which they all managed tk stop. There will always be a handful of morons that don't understand but in Swanseas case it must literally be not even 0.1%, thats the obvious truth of the matter.

Yeah, several may be accurate, id go with several. If the number made 3 figures I would be immensely shocked, evey club has their morons that cannot grasp what is going on. It is absolutely accurate however to say the overwhelming majority almost to a man were dead against the takeover from the start and remain so. The supporters trust which owns 21% of the club and acts on the behalf of supporters wishes took a stance against the takeover from the outset and has not waivered. They are documented and dated as are the various opinion polls and online discussions at the time available for viewing this very second.

Their owners have managed to make Vincent Tan look like Steve Gibson.

Rebrand aside, Tan is one of the better owners in the footballing world.

They also opposed and successfully stopped the initial American takeover from the guys who bought Forest recently, which was met with great widespread praise to a man. This is why Jenkins and co kept the fans in the dark for the current deal as they may scupper it again, hence the potential legal action now by the Trust as the sale went against the shareholders agreement. So quite obviously the fans were always against it.

You may know a handful of people that were misinformed but they obviously were in a minority barely worth mentioning. A bit like saying I know a few nazis so all Welsh people are racist - that clearly is not the overwhelming opinion of the population and anybody connected with the club will tell you that. Or indeed just go onto the fan forums and check out the feeling on there at the time of the discussions and then the eventual takeover, the dissenting voices will barely register a couple of posts or comments between them.
