Drop Morrison put Bamba alongside Manga drop Connolly and put Bennett back and make Gunnar captain.

I wasn't a 'Gunnarsson for Captain' advocate at the start of the season, as I didn't believe he would play enough games under Paul Trollope but under Neil Warnock he has returned to the player we knew he could be!

Morrison not good enough for Capt Gunnar is the outstanding candidate and and Bamba and Manga that would be one hell centre back partnership.

I would drop Morrison and have Bamba & Manga as the partnership too but Manga is either away with Gabon or sold in January, so its not really an option unfortunately. Gunnar for captain for sure.

I would drop Morrison and have Bamba & Manga as the partnership too but Manga is either away with Gabon or sold in January, so its not really an option unfortunately. Gunnar for captain for sure.
I expect Warnock will try and bring in another Bamba type defender and don't expect Morrison to last long further in Warnock's reign.

How the fcuk does putting an armband around Gunnars arm make the team any better ? He has been on the field every minute of Warnocks reign !!!!!!! Its not fantasy football.
Whether Morrison is first choice is another matter, but its nowt to do with the armband.

Because Gunnar sets the standard on the field with his performances and is vocal and he is the sort of captain you would respect more than Morrison so why shouldn't it make the team perform better? or Bamba is the other option.

He either leads now or he doesn't. You are not mute because you don't have an armband.
The only issue with Morrisons captaincy is the fact that most managers hate dropping the skipper as its send out a "lost" signal. Positionally he is shit. With Manga he is worse because Bamba organizes the defence and midfield.
Since moving Gunnar into a 442 we have shipped goals. Either with Whitts (the usual scapegoat) or without as his partner.
It can only be Sol, he is the only one who is guaranteed to start every game.
