Very true mate. Sadly, it is bang on the money.

The principle reason I stopped taking my boys away was this sort of drunken loutish behaviour among our fans virtually every game. Last time we played Pompey away I got told to f**k off for asking someone to stop blocking my then 9 year olds view. The guy was so legless he could barely stand up and was really aggressive - horrible for kids to see this sort of thing, especially from so called fans of their own team.

I love away games but you are right the state of some can make it a nervous affair.

We all seem to knock the stewards but put yourself in their shoes when faced with a drunk. Not easy for them is it.

With probably 90% of the fans yesterday probably from outside Cardiff, could take a while to identify him. It's true mind, it can get a bit out of control away from home as everybody is tanked up. When your not winning unfortunately these frustrations creep on to the terraces. These isolated incidents have always happened though.

Went to villa and it wasn't the drunks who were annoying. We sat in the second row of the top tier, along comes this bloke and his two teenagers who stand right in front of us. Told the elderly gents to eff off when asked to sit down. What an example to his kids.

There was something I was reading, on our forum I think, about supposedly Cardiff fans throwing roadwork signs about outside the New Inn.

Its always going to happen in all supports, I have had a few over the years with some absolute clowns who think they are the boys after a few sniffs of carlsberg.

The last nasty one I remember was Millwall away by the coaches around 2011 ish I think it was, Barry and Blackwood. The Blackwood boys were only young they picked on the wrong people and would have got battered if a few others hadnt calmed things down.
