Why the hell do we conceede after we take the lead?

First-Half Cardiff City were just by a bit the better team and deserved their one goal lead.
Bruno Manga was outstanding and Kenneth Johore was excellent.

Second-half City were under pressure from the first minute and attack after attacker City finally conceeded,but thanks to Murphy who kept us in the game,we managed to scrape a 2-2 draw,even though in the 89th min City thought they had won the game.

There is a problem with our defence? ? ?

to be honest 2-2 was a fair result for both sides.

Cardiff players traveled to Brentford today knowing that if any of them were not up to the standard manager Neil Warnock wanted,they would be told they could go this coming January.

Cardiff City had conceded five goals in their last two games and Warnock has stressed how worried he is of his defence.
Today City faced a Brentford team that were very unpredictable this season and had also had lately a few home defeats.


A poor start by Cardiff,both teams not really doing anything then in the 23rd min Sean Morrison was brought down for Peter Whittingham to score from the penalty spot 0-1 City


Cardiff had the ball in the net again but Morrison was offside.

Zohore was everywhere and never stopped

Lee Peltier stood out and Bruno Manga was excellent.

City were the better team

Peter Whittingham was replaced by Stuart O'Keefe at half-time .

Cardiff had to soak up early pressure from Brentford.

Pilkington replaced Lee Peltier.

City were defending for 10mins and Brian Murphy made three excellent saves,one was superb.

As Brentford continued to attack Murphy continued to save City.

Junior Hoilett went off for Craig Noone.

Brentford attacked and attacked and eventually it was 1-1

Then Kenneth Johore popped up in the 89th min 1-2 City

But in injury time once again City conceded and it ended 2-2.

Our defence is shocking.

Last 2 games they have let in 6 goals of which 2 of them were late winner/draw. Simple just a disaster of a group of players. I'm getting nervious now for the second half of the season even with these new player coming in.

I would take Bamba over Morrison any day, but I do want Gunnarson to be given a chance

Its good that Zohore is off the mark many more to come hopefully and the defence needs sorting when it was our strong point last season.

Glad he got 1 especially after his 1 on 1 miss. Didn't let his head drop and deserves a goal or 2

I think one or two of the defenders have had it too easy at Cardiff for too long and need moving on. Bennett was all over the place for the last goal so can see why Warnock has been playing Peltier there.

Zohore Def deserved his goal

Zahore is playing well, I think a partner for zahore in Jan is a must, a keeper and a defender as we are leaking to much at the min, I think then we can push for a mid table finish.

Just watched that goal over and over again,that was a superb goal and even Sky said it should be goal of the day, Murphy had No chance.

Even my eight handed Murphy wouldn't have saved that Brentford 1st goal.

Connolly was once part a very prolific Cardiff defence when we went up. There's something more to it than just the personal. Some responsibility has to be shared by the manager and staff.
