102 years ago today: English & German soldiers stopped fighting, to play a game of football in 'No Man’s Land'.

I've been to that site in Belgium. Interesting story behind that day and quite shocking.

It's almost impossible to comprehend, given both the inhumane circumstances the soldiers of both camps found themselves working under and the fact that the days before and after they were trying to annihilate each other! 
On a lighter note, nice to see they were all capped for it!
