Former Cardiff City boss Russell Slade takes over at ANOTHER crisis club

Russell Slade has landed another job at a crisis club, taking over at Coventry City until the end of the season.

The famous club are 23rd in League One and without a boss since Tony Mowbray resigned earlier in the campaign.

The club are going through a period of major strife as fans protest against the ownership of Sisu. Attendances have been declining at the Ricoh Arena and on field performances have gone in the same direction.

Slade joined Charlton in a similar predicament, with fans angrily protesting against the owner, Belgian Roland Duchatelet.

However, Slade was given significant funds, spending heavily on Nicky Ajose and Josh Magennis, among others.

He was sacked with the club languishing in mid-table and he has since been replaced by the former MK Dons boss Karl Robinson.

Wales on line says that his record with us is the same as Warnocks?

Lovely guy with a big task ahead of him as Coventry are a club with some history that shouldn't be in the position they see themselves in.

League 1 is Russell's pedigree and the task at hand if he keeps them up will be a success.

Our league position is so much better since Slades left!

I just don't understand what people have against him, for me he did a good job of typing up after Ole while still giving us an outside chance of a playoff.
