We may be in a relegation battle right now, but I really believe we will get it right under Neil Warnock. Not the play-offs, barring an incredible run, but we will pull away from danger.
Castle Blue has already posted on here how we have improved under Warnock. That's with largely the same squad he had when he took charge.
Against Barnsley, the only player that started who was a Warnock signing was Junior Hoilett.
When he arrived, a lot were talking about the play-offs. But Warnock said that was too ambitious. He knew how big this challenge was.
It's likely to be his last job in football and I suspect he'll want to finish on a high. I hope he stays next season and we can make a real push for promotion.
I'll be at the Aston Villa game, our first game of 2017, and it could be a great year.
I fully expect Warnock to keep us up, and I hope he stays on to take us back where we were under the Malky Mackay and Dave Jones days.
