Plans have been finalised for the Cardiff game.
Brighton & Hove Albion can confirm that a number of travel contingency plans have been made ahead of the home match with Cardiff City on Friday 30th December, kick-off 7.45pm.
These include an additional park & ride site at Sainsbury’s West Hove, and a separate drop-off point for supporters at Sussex University.
Please note that wherever possible, all fans are advised to get to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.
The club will also publish updated information if and when it becomes available.
Park & Rides
The three park & rides at Mill Road, the University of Brighton and at the Racecourse will be open as usual at 5pm.
Additional buses have been booked at all three sites to cope with the increased demand.
A park and ride operation will be also be in place at the Sainsbury’s West Hove site, which opens at 6pm.
All parking and bus seats are free of charge, but must be booked in advance via seagullstickets.com.
Trains
The club has been advised that Southern are planning to operate their usual matchday service, but cannot guarantee the full details as yet due to the ongoing industrial dispute.
Fans planning to attend the match by train are strongly advised to check the Southern website before travelling to the game.
Seagull Travel
Additional buses have been secured through Seagull Travel and spaces are available to pre book via the Seagull Travel website.
Parking spaces are available for supporters to purchase at the Bridge (Car Park B) and at Sussex University (Car Park C).
These can be booked in advance at seagullstickets.com for £12, or can be secured on the day of the game for £15, subject to availability.
Drop Offs & Pick-ups after the match
Please note there will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way, due to the large volume of buses and coaches.
Therefore the club will be opening car park 5 (within Car Park C) at Sussex University by the sports hall, to enable fans to be dropped off and picked up before and after the match.
Please note that all vehicles entering Sussex University must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate.

Almost as disgusting as the Fulham game that this game was moved to the Friday night instead of 3pm NYE.
Is there even a genuine reason don't think it's on Sky is it? It's not adervtised anyway.

as a fan base we accept this sort of thing all the time. bubbles,RVpoints, ticket exchanges. excessive banning orders, over policed games, reduced allocations, far too many kick offs moved .

I agree, both Christmas fixtures moved from their original times to the detriment of our fans with no seemingly genuinly thought out logical reason to do so.
I think its gone on for so long now that most fans are just completely apathetic to it.
I would have potentialy gone to one or both of these with a group of about anything between 15-20 mates but wont be doing either now.
