Rhys Healey is a wanted man
Plymouth Argyle loan target Rhys Healey has just as much of a chance of starting against them on Wednesday night as any other Newport County player, despite being dropped to the bench for the last two games.
The 22-year-old is much desired by a number of League Two and League One clubs with his loan deal set to expire for Graham Westley's team on January 2.
But before then Healey could be the man to break green hearts as the Pilgrims battle it out with County at Rodney Parade in the FA Cup second round replay.
The winners of the televised tie will earn a lucrative third round game away to Premier League side Liverpool, managed by Jurgen Klopp.
Speaking about Healey's chances the Exiles boss said: "I think you judge players by their performances, by their training, by where they're at in relation to other players and you keep picking the team that you and your staff and the senior players think is the right team for the game and the situation.

Former Pilgrims boss Neil Warnock is manager of Cardiff City, the team loaning out Healey to Newport, recently told the press of his anger with the way Westley had handled the striker.
"I disagree totally with what has happened and I'm very, very annoyed with Graham at the moment if I'm honest.
"To ask a young lad to face the media and talk about Plymouth I think is totally out of order and I will be speaking to Rhys on Sunday.
"I don't think he should have been placed in front of the media with the first question asking him whether he was going to Plymouth Argyle. He should be talking about Newport and it was totally unfair."
But Westley has said that there has been no cross words between himself and Warnock, who he has spoken to on a couple of occasions about the situation with Healey.
Neil Warnock
"There was no disagreement. I've spoken to Neil Warnock twice about Rhys and there hasn't been a cross word in the conversation.
"I've explained how I see Rhys' situation and he's explained how he sees it.
"He's become the Cardiff City manager without having any access to the player so he wants to have a look at the player at the beginning of January and take it from there.
"If he's got an option to send him to what he views as better clubs then he might do that.
"He might have a conversation with the player and he might want to go where he's more likely to play more games.
"It's wrong to say there's been a disagreement because Neil and I speak often and on good terms."
Graham Westley
On the chances of Healey staying at Newport beyond January 2 Westley added: "He's going back to Cardiff so I would have thought very slight.
"He's had 19 games and got six goals and that's been good for him.
"The six goals have earned points and that's good for the club but we don't know what will happen.
"Rhys is going to be hoping that he goes back to Cardiff, gets a goal in Neil Warnock's first team and secures a place in his starting XI in the Championship."
