Seems that the Jack elation...

Mon Dec 19, 2016 10:19 pm

about our recent shenanigans with our owners was "premature jack elation"

Them down the road taking the piss out of us, because an investor/owner was (and still is) pumping millions into us.

Took a while, but he seems to be doing the right things now though. He seems to be making the right noises and wants a future.

Reading this quote (below) on planet swamp really made me laugh like fook at them.

We've been trussed up, stitched up, stuffed, basted, roasted and sold down the river by our 'saviours'.   :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6:

Long may it continue I say. :notworthy:

They are already in relegation mode and are trying to cut costs when they can make the most money. If they don't cut costs by, in his words, 60%, Swansea will be unsustainable.

60% of Swansea is unsustainable

:laughing6: :laughing6: So, them telling us that they were the model club was a bit OTT then ?

Also, them telling us they were "light years" ahead of us only lasted a few seasons ?

LMFAO !

What we have seen from Swansea over the last five years or so is a temporary blip. They have been punching well above their weight for a while, and it must have been great for their fans. However, for a club of their size and stature most football fans know that the good times are only going to last for a limited period of time. Traditionally, their competition has come from the likes of Wrexham, Darlington, Hartlepool and other similar sort of sides. It is only a matter of time before thay return to their traditional position in the football league, and they will be entertaining these sort of sides again. For me, their natural place in the pecking order is Div 1 or Div 2, and I believe they will return to their rightful position in the next few years. On the plus side, it raises their prospects of a mouth watering derby against the mighty Newport.
