Swansea City's players will not be having a Christmas party

It is also reported that sections of Swansea City fans will start protests against their American owners.

Swansea City will not hold a Christmas party this year after the players decided it was inappropriate given the team's current plight.

Bob Bradley’s men are fighting for their Premier League lives after a woeful 3-0 defeat at the hands of Middlesbrough — following on from a midweek defeat at West Brom — left them joint bottom of the Premier League table.

Only six sides have managed to retain Premier League status after making as slow a start as Swansea’s 12 points from 17 games.

The home games against West Ham and Bournemouth, on Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve respectively, are set to be crucial in ensuring Swansea do not find themselves adrift as the season enters January and the transfer window opens. And, while it is now well in to Christmas party season, Swansea’s players will not be holding any celebrations themselves given the club’s plight.

They can't perform away and with some games coming up away against their relegation rivals it puts a lot of pressure on these upcoming home games. We are about to see if they have the stomach for a relegation fight.

That was a very odd one even by Roathie standards. He even went to the effort of making a cake shaped shirt to eat at the end. His 'girlfriend' in the video was his mum wearing one of the skins of the dead hitch-hikers that he preys upon. She then did his ironing for the week before returning to the attic to sleep while hanging upside down.

Hard to disagree and maybe that's why they are where they are. They've made some pretty big profits on players in the past (Bony the biggest) and it is no secret it helped keep them afloat in conjunction decent managers (of which they've not had for the last season or so)
