I can't believe how many city fans walk out

Sun Dec 18, 2016 5:57 pm

I can't believe how many city fans walk out just because we were 1-3 down before half time what the points paying all that money to go and watch the games for ?

I seen a lots worst I thought it was a very entertaining games never say die performance from city in the 2nd half it could have gone either way the refs ignore our penalty appeal in the first half Barnsley keeper made some great save first half and 2nd half

I often wonder why so many leave with 10 mins to go when scores are 2-3 or 1-1 etc . It's not as if there's massive queues to get out these days.

Agree with all of this. I think leaving early is just damn rude and folks leaving when your 3-1 down is just piss-poor.

It's like buying a book and not reading the last chapter. Wonder if they do it in the cinema.

Most people that f**k off are going back to the pub where a pint of lager is more appealing than sitting in a souless bowl watching their team lose.

Thats the brutal truth of it.

It does annoy me seeing them leave to beat the traffic or some other pathetic reason. Yes I know there are some who have genuine reasons.

:laughing6: I'm seeing Rogue One this week and I'm going to leave 10 minutes before the end or I may just get up and go if the Empire are winning at half-time.

Speaking in general terms not specificaly Saturday. Im not even suggesting Im right tbh, my 'most people' remark was a bit flippant in truth.

Some people do leave for the reason I said though, there seemed to be quite a few on Saturday, probably lads on a Christmas day out and just busting to get back on the beers.

I hate it. Happens every week. Grumpy sod who sits almost directly in front of me got up and made a big deal of leaving at around 78 minutes, calling what he saw on the pitch a load of crap.

Well, guess who appeared back in his seat when we scored not long after? Don't care that he's an older man who has likely followed the club for decades, his attitude (and from many like him) is disgusting and just shows that a lot of our supporters have forgotten why they Coke to watch thit City in the first place.

Since I have not had to rely on others to take me to games I have only ever gone early once and that was when I took my late Grandfather and he asked to go and we were only a few minutes early.

Don't know how you can call yourself a real fan and leave early when the game is in the balance!

Did you go Saturday because with 20 minutes to go it was anything but a souless bowl.

The people sat around Dai Hunt were encouraging him to leave a bit earlier. 90 minutes to be precise.

If fans want to leave at half-time then that's their business. Never understand why sections of City fans want to find fault with other sections. At least those who leave at half-time or later have turned up in the first place, unlike the 15000 or so who have disappeared since the PL days.

So what? As you said you enjoyed Saturday (result apart) so anyone who left early had no affect on your day so why worry about it? :?

As someone who has alluded to a dislike of keyboard warriors on a different thread Im surprised by that comment as I am almost certain that you wouldnt call some of the people I know who have left many a game early over the years spineless to their face.

Stay with your team till the end I say. I hate it when people leave when we're down and always will and to be honest I find it embarrassing. Nothing will change my opinion, including the 'people you know'.
