Anyone see Whitts brush Dai Hunt aside by the car park?

Sat Dec 17, 2016 9:58 pm

Whitts was dropped off by his missus near the car park. Hoping to sneak in, only a few fans spotted him,
Including Dai.

As he approached Dai, he just kept on walking and shoulder charged Dai out of the way.
Dai looked surprised.

Whitts just was not in the mood by the look of things :old:

Dai Hunt has been at our club a very long time and the club should respect him by giving him a testimonial :)

I bet when we make a new signing, the first topic of conversation with his new team mates, is being warned about Dai Hunt. Bet the players can't stick him and who can blame them?

Dai is definitely overdue a testimonial. He is by far the best player I've ever seen at the club and was my boyhood hero. I've still got an old shirt with Hunt 13 on it and despite it being old and tatty now I'd never get rid of it. I don't think it's ever been washed, it's so sacred to me.

I remember a game in the early 90s I think, it was against Barcelona and we were 4 down with 10 minutes to play. Dai came on and immediately scored with a spectacular overhead kick. He got the rest of the team geed up and went on to score 2 more and provided the assist with a most sublime 90 yard pass for us to draw level.

Needless to say it was Dai who got the winner with a penalty in the dying seconds of the game. In between all this he went in goal, saved a penalty, then cleared what looked a certain goal off the line. He bought us all a pint afterwards. What a giant of a man; we may never see his I'll again

I think there was a bit of confusion regarding an autographed picture. Whitts thought Dai was requesting one, not offering one complete with carrier bag.

I was lucky enough to purchase a season ticket a few rows back from Dai this year. His answer to the game at half time was to "take Connolly off and bring Lambert on"

There is currently an Ebay auction featuring an original Dai Hunt Tesco carrier bag autographed by Earnie and Kav that says 'Good Luck Dai - Your Scaring Us. Please Leave Us Alone. Please".
