" Wheres the BOSS? "

Where's the boss on the pitch? Getting back to 3 all 5 minutes to play who was calling the shots? Why didn't someone say 11 behind the ball shut up shot we need the point.

There is NO one? ? ?

Morrison waste of space as a leader.

It should be Aron Gunnarson 100% :thumbright: :thumbright:

Exactly this gunnars probably feels he can't say anything as he's not captain.......I mean he only captained the smallest nation in the euros to beating England what would he knows ;)

Nubsy, I should have been clearer, I am talking purely about being a leader/boss when it was 3-3.

But if a leader had been on the pitch that last5 minutes could have played out differently however the players were all over the place....a sound football head would have said "relegation battle take the point lads defend" no one did and we were exposed.

It was gunners and rightly so he was urging us to win it, why 11 behind the ball? I wanted like everybody to go for it, that's what I love about football and we had a go and it didn't work out. Lambert should have won us the match.

I think they all felt they could of gone on to win it. And if lambert converted his chance at the end then we would of. Hats off to Barnsley at 3-3 they looked better than at 3-1 up

Why would we possibly want to go 11 behind the ball??? We had just equalised, were at home, on top with the crowd behind us!!!

It was totally the right idea to go for the win and Lambert could and should have won it for us on any other day we would have had the 3pts and everyone would be on this forum saying what a great idea to go for the win.!!!!!

Sorry but I (and a few around me) feel when your in a relegation battle, fought back from 3-1down get that (what could be) vital point. We aren't in a position to take risks get every point available.

Not at all in case it's escaped you we are dancing with relegation a point is more vital, surely the fact we lost and dropped a spot in the league makes that clear. Pushing up and taking risks is not for now.

Agreed, Annis. Quite frankly, Gunnarson should've been our captain from the moment we got relegated back to this league.

what i find with Morrison is that he wins nearly every header in the opposition's box and wants the ball more and attacks nearly every ball but when it comes to defending he dont want to know hes no leader thats for sure

I disagree with this as well.
We get 11 men behind the ball time and time again and that ends up inviting teams on and defending deeper and deeper. Then we panic and inevitably concede late. Happens all the time with us.
I'm not saying we should go gung-ho all out but we should go forward and try to win the game at home.

need to give it to gunnarson....simples and I have never been a massive fan

The natural instinct when youve come back from a deficit is to go for the jugular thats why the pundits say theres only one winner here. The team cant be blamed for going for it they were on the front foot but can be blamed for inexcusable defending which has happened numerous times this year.
Morrison shouldn't be captain i dont think he should be on the pitch to be honest.

Totally agree with this, why shut up shop
Atmosphere in final 3rd was terrific and we came back from 2 goals down. If we had done that the forum would have been lit up with comments about why didnt we go on and try to win it, 3 point were there for the taking and we nearly did.
How many times in the past have we attempted to shut up shop just to invite the opposing team to bombard our goal and lose.

Devastated when we were hit with the last minute sucker punch but i thought the way we came back from 2 goals down was fantastic. Definitely major defensive and goal keeping errors today but for me also some major positives. :ayatollah:

You can say "how many times in the past' but we weren't in a relegation battle where currently every single point is vital. 11 behind the ball isn't necessarily calling on an attack it can be about getting possession and keeping it,controlling the game for that few minutes of extra time. Like I say we've dropped a point and dropped a position in the league I'd have taken a safe (hard earned)point all day.

Respect your opinion mate and it is a valid one, but for me i would rather go on and try to win it.

In my opinion over a season a lot more points are lost by sitting deep than playing to win, continuing to attack and putting pressure on the opposition. This has been proven to be the case time and time again with past managers who have adopted the sit deep and defend for your life approach.
