Gunnar zohore and whitts played well
Sat Dec 17, 2016 8:13 pm
Whitts for me
Ran his backside off, made himself available, took some decent dead balls and scored a beauty that lifted the whole stadium!
Sat Dec 17, 2016 9:30 pm
Whitts assist as well. If we'd taken our chances, it would've been two more assists!

Whitts or Gunnar......How the hell did those two who can't allegedly play together be 1st or 2nd
Both showed what we know but also the side we give them little credit for
Whitts - Well the boy is class and that's it, but worked his nuts off !
Gunnar - A warrior and someone you'd want in your trench, but showed a few passes Whitts would be happy with.
Gunnar for me.....Just

Whittingham just over the gunnar, scored a beauty and worked hard. Gunnarsson was class agin,im confident these 2 will keep us out of trouble.Zahore played well. The defence and Amos let the team down badly today

Gunnarson. He won everything in midfield - and was the real captain on the pitch.

Easy, peasey - Whitts

Very close between Whitts and Gunnar so far. Whitts just shading it at the moment.
Zohore also getting plenty of votes, while one person has voted for Amos.

Whitts and Gunnersonn both put in huge performances but between the two I settled for Whitts.
His goal rolled back the clock, the technique of the half volley was pure quality, the crosses he put in one after another deserved more than just the two goals.
But for me his defensive covering was as good as Gunnarsonn and that takes some doing. He won 100% of the tackles he contested and the sliding tackle in the first half where he won the ball, got up and passed it to Noons was superb.
Mind you Noone lost possession straight away, some things never change, do they.

Gary, Craig Noone has been very underwhelming for some time now and yesterday he had a nightmare when it came to 'end product'
He just runs into dead ends, gives the ball away cheaply (turning decent attack into disorganised defence) and shoots from wild positions (not yesterday, mind) in a Roy of the Rovers attempt to be a hero
Simple not good enough in a team that needs to be working for each other and not themselves!

Whitts just about pulling away now.

Whitts was superb! I just love watching him play when he's at the top of his game, the man is class!

Whitts wins, narrowly beating Gunnar. Zohore wasn't too far behind, while Amos got one vote.
