Neil Warnock has restated his need to offload Bruno Manga in the January transfer window, despite saying the defender had "listened well" to what he wanted from him.
Warnock:"I have no doubt about it. Both Bruno and Sol could play at a much higher level, they're very talented lads."
Manga is one of the highest earners at the club, and Warnock has repeatedly said the due to financial fair play regulations the club will need to let him go in January.
Warnock admitted today that "I've not really changed my view about Bruno."
"We can't afford to have someone on that sort of money in the Championship, and that's the situation.
"Although nothing is set in stone, and all sorts of things can happen.
"I've spoken to him about getting some opportunities in the next few games and he's listened well to what I want from a centre-half. It's not rocket science what I want from him.
Asked whether the situation may disrupt Manga, Warnock said: "I think he's that laid back he's not worried about anything.
"All things being equal and with no FFP we'd want to keep Bruno. I don't think I know what will happen in January... and I'm the one in charge. I'm trying to cover my back so we can get any available players, and I have to think who I might have to forgo to do that.
Manga played against Wolves on Tuesday night with Sol Bamba suspended, and Warnock thinks both men could play in a higher league.
"I have no doubt about it. Both Bruno and Sol could play at a much higher level, they're very talented lads."
