Cardiff City loan star is expected to return to the club in January

Rhys Healey is expected to return to Cardiff City this January when his loan with Newport County ends early next month, according to County boss Graham Westley.
The 22-year old striker has scored six goals in 19 appearances for the League Two club since joining from the Bluebirds in September.
Healey didn't play for County at the weekend in the wake of League Two rivals Plymouth Argyle declaring an interest in the young forward.
It remains to be seen if Healey will be re-introduced to the starting XI this weekend, or more importantly for Newport's potential money-spinning clash with Plymouth on Wednesday. The winners are rewarded with a trip to Anfield to take on Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side in the Third Round.
But Westley has now said that he expects Healey to return to the Bluebirds in the New Year.
"Neil [Warnock] wants to have a look at Rhys, and I think the early part of January is going to be about Cardiff seeing whether Rhys has got a role to play at Cardiff, whether he’s far enough down the evolution chain for them to think he’s going to do the business in the Championship.
“Neil’s a manager who hasn’t really seen a lot of Rhys so his first priority is to do that, to have a look at the player and make decisions from there in terms of where Rhys goes.
“I don’t expect Rhys to be here in January, not because there’s an issue between Neil and I, which there isn’t, but because he wants to have a look at his player."
However, Westley did not rule out taking an interest in the player if he goes back out on loan after returning January.
"If he does perform between now and then he’ll be going back to Cardiff in a good frame of mind, he’ll be going back in a good vein of form, and he’ll be giving himself the best opportunity to prove himself to his parent club.”

I think we need to look at who let him go in the first place
Warnock (rightly) wants to "have a look" at the boy and I think most City fans will welcome that

Totally disagree about playing a weaker team in the Cup. We need a really good Cup run to make up for what will be a disappointing season. We need to play our strongest team v. Fulham and, despite s stupid o'clock kick off time, we also need a big crowd. Sadly the club are closing the Ninian stand, so anticipating a lack of interest. The tickets are very cheap though, which is positive.
