Bruno Manga 'never out' of Warnock's thoughts

NEIL WARNOCK: "IT ALL DEPENDS ON CARDIFF CITY'S FINANCES"

Bruno Ecuele Manga deputised for Bamba against Wolves to make his first start under Warnock.

The Gabon international did so with a flourish, producing a near faultless display to be named man of the match.

Bruno Ecuele Manga joined the Bluebirds from French club Lorient in September, 2014

Warnock had previously said Ecuele Manga might be sold during the January transfer window.

But the former Crystal Palace and Sheffield United manager has not ruled out a future for the centre-back at Cardiff.

Neil Warnock:"It all depends on the finances. Bruno's never been left out of my thoughts, even in training he's been very good."

"He's listened to what I want in a centre-half, he's seen what I ask of Sol [Bamba] and I thought he was just like Sol tonight.

"It was like watching two of them."

If the club is too fight for promotion next season be it from league one or championship we need a quality squad selling players of mangas quality is suicide.

Personally I'd try pairing up manga and bamba.

Gareth,This just proves my point all along, Tan is still getting rid of the better players due to the bad finances of the club,so for us to even think about promotions under Tan is dream land,We are just trying to consolidate in the Championship.

Be interesting if Warnock is still here next September?

If Warnock is here come September it won't be to consolidate, bug a serious promotion push. You cannot blame Tan for getting rid of high earners, manga hasn't even been playing until last night so of course he would be sold. he didn't put a foot wrong last night.

On his day Manga is worth every penny and well worth keeping. Unfortunately, he has cost us vital points in the past with a lot of off form games.

If he can perform like that every game then we would keep him.

But he hasn't for a long time. For that reason, i don't blame the board for cashing in.

That would be my dream CB partnership. Both have their faults but at this level they are class.

Bamba and manga in defence know that be hell of a partnership

I thought Bruno was different class last night and I would also like to see him paired with Bamba. It'll be interesting to see what choice Warnock makes when Bamba is available and if I was in Morrisons boots, I'd be concerned about my place. People are saying Tan wants rid of Bruno because of his high wages, but does he want a new contract and what kind of money will he want or accept to stay.

If manga would accept a lower basic I reckon we could keep him, Bamba might help him keep his concentration...

Alot of it may be on how much Manga actually want to stay. If he's willing to accept a lower contract then there's a good chance he will stay I rekon.

My question is weather him and bamba could play together?

Also, financially if we signed him on he'd actually be worth a few mill in future windows instead of going for next to nothing in the summer
