I do not see the point in booing that's for sure.
Having said that I can understand fan's frustration as that was a truly shocking first half performance.
Once the fans could see the way the players were performing in the second half however, the support was excellent for the rest of the game.
All the fans need is some evidence of effort and competence on the pitch - there was none in the first half but it was there in spades after the interval.

Positive support obviously has a positive effect on the team as could be seen in the second half, when the crowd really got behind the boys when they could see the effort being made.
Presumably therefore, a negative reaction from the crowd must surely have a negative impact on the players.
You could argue that it's at times like in the first half yesterday that the players really need the support of the fans!
