I'm a Welsh speaker, but I think that's a fake story. Sounds too good to be true.

My son goes to a Welsh school and there are several Muslims there. Can you speak your national language?

Er, Ali Yassine spoke Welsh! He's just one, and I'm sure there are more than a few others. I graduated in Welsh in July and in my first year there was a Muslim girl who was doing Welsh alongside another subject. She was Yassine's daughter.

I think we need to be careful about these sorts of stories. It's not out of the question that it happened - as I have said above, there are Muslim Welsh-speakers, Ali Yassine among them - but there are loads of stories on social media nowadays that people will gladly share/like/retweet without knowing how true they are.
