SOL BAMBA MAKES A STATEMENT

Bluebirds defender Sol Bamba has issued the following public apology following Saturday’s game at Ipswich Town.

My intention will then be to make further amends with my performances on the pitch."

“I want to apologise to the Cardiff City supporters, my team-mates and manager for my conduct during Saturday’s game at Ipswich.

“Whilst I was extremely angry with the challenge on me at the time, it did not condone my reaction and I accept that the referee had no choice but to show me a red card.

“I’ve spoken to my manager and team-mates and apologised to them in person.

"I’ve had a fantastic time at Cardiff City since joining in October and I look forward to returning. My intention will then be to make further amends with my performances on the pitch.”

I'm with you there. He's a fantastic leader and whilst it was out of character for him it proves he cares. Hope this will come to an end and we can move on now he's apologised.

Fair play to him, he has been an absolute star since he's joined and long may it continue.

Everyone has the potential to go a bit mental at some point or another, that's what makes us human.

Make him dress up as Rudolph when the players visit the hospitals to see the kids and say no more about it

Personally I don't think he has anything to apologise for, reacting to a bad tackle then his emotions snowballing actually make me respect him even more.
