Cardiff City Striker Rhys Healey who is on loan at Newport County and currently their top scorer, but has been dropped over a dispute with County's manager and Neil Warnock over the treatment of Healey.

Warnock is not happy at all with how Healey has been treated and is 100% in the right,so Newport County manager Graham Westley decided to drop Rhys Healey on Saturday.

County wanted Rhys Healey to extend the loan in January, that def will now not be happening now, so they've taken it out on the young striker, who now can't play for no one till January.

Newport County are being contacted by Cardiff City this week to get this sorted out and bring the lad home to Cardiff.

Plymouth top of Division 2,need a striker and want Rhys Healey in January on loan and looked favourites to get him, but so do a number of clubs now want Healey.

Carlisle,Port Vale,Grimsby,Sheffield United and Bolton have all enquired about loaning Rhys Healey.

Neil Warnock has already publicly stated he is not happy with Graham Wesley's treatment of Rhys Healey.

It seems the Newport County manager who has already had a falling out with his own staff this season and (see below) last week, seems to upset a lot of people.

Newport County manager Graham Westley was involved in an extraordinary post-match press conference following his side's 0-0 draw at Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup.

He was asked to leave after listening in to opposition manager Derek Adams' conference.

Westley initially refused before Adams cut short his briefing and left.

"The press officer asked me to leave, I was a bit confused and bemused by it," Westley said.

Newport County always were a crap, ramshackle outfit, from Somerton Park to the present day.

Westly is obviously a prick, he's fucked it up for Newport now by dropping their best striker and healy is also suffering.

Manager Graham Westley says striker Rhys Healey was left out of Newport County's starting line-up "to take him out of the firing line".

Healey, on loan from Cardiff City, revealed Plymouth Argyle had made an approach for him.

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock criticised Westley for allowing Healey to speak to the media about interest from Argyle.

"His form has definitely been affected the last couple of games," Westley said.

"He himself talks about his brain being fried by everything. He's a young player and he's not faced this kind of thing before.

Aye mate just have to look at him to know he's a orrible c*** - by all accounts, he's got on wrong side of all sorts down at Rodney Parade.

Healey will do wonders for any LG 2 club, so hopefully he will help Plymouth or one of the others push on.

A move to Bolton might give us a better idea of how good Healey might be.

Low wages, scored 6 for a struggling team, he's going to be in demand. He won't get a game at Bolton, he will be back up so not a good move

Graham Westley has always been a prick. ever since the day he bought Farnborough Town to make himself manager and then destroyed the club by taking all the cash out of it.

Westley rebraned Farnborough Town too, and made himself the manager. Bit ironic a "fan owned club" giving Westley a job. Would like Newport to stay up, only because they are Welsh. Poor fans, poor club. I know a lot of Newport County lads, and they all talk about Cardiff City as if we are massive rivals. Rivals only by proximity.

No championship clubs interested then - I would love to have seen him given a game instead of the pantomime pair of Fred and Kenneth.

I am equally sure he would do a better job than Pilkington as well up front.

I say get him back in january and see what he can do. He could not play in the FA Cup presumably.

Mason was a young kid from League 2; he found his feet pretty quickly.

How the heck do we know what he could do if he is not given a a chance

My understanding is he's a talented kid but a bit raw atm, a bit of work in progress, If I was Rhys I'd choose Plymouth as they are a side who play lovely football and have been slowly building themselves in League 2 for a while.

He should be given a few games in January when he returns. Scored some right crackers.
