Aston Villa are reportedly looking to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone in January.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the 23-year-old is available on loan and Villa are keen to strengthen between the sticks.

It is reported that a number of other Championship clubs are interested, but Villa are hopeful of securing a deal.
