Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock expects Sol Bamba to be charged with violent conduct and banned for three games after his reaction to being sent off in the 1-1 draw at Ipswich.

Bamba was dismissed for his angry reaction to a tackle by Jonathan Douglas and confronted the referee and fourth official.

He also pushed his manager's arm away and Warnock has not ruled out the club taking disciplinary action.

"You can't condone that," said Warnock.

"I've not seen that part of him before, but he was absolutely furious. He'll get violent conduct and banned for three games and quite rightly so.

"He was a bit big for me. I could not get him around the neck. I'll have to grow a bit. But he is distraught in there, and quite rightly so."

Not sure what pushed Sol over the edge - must have been something McGoldrick said to him as it was that rather than the tackle that really pissed him off.

Also think he was sent off for having a go at the fourth official rather than the handbags with Warnock.

Could have cost us the game - very silly.
