We are in a relegation battle, he got himself sent off when we need every man on the pitch. Is he not to be criticised??

Yeah maybe but shoving the manager was the bad thing, needs to apologise and put in a performance against wolves. Oh well least we now have players who care. :laughing5:

Bamba from what I can see was showing commitment to the club and shirt and he was Definitely fouled first.

My god there was a time when players sorted these things out themselves not behaving like children the guys supposed to be a big tough centre half my arse  Don Murray or Jason Perry or in fact most players back in the day would have done him on the pitch even if it meant getting sent off at least they would have had some pay back but this is just Embarrassing for the boy

Bamba made a stupid mistake not the first player to do so and won't be the last. He needs a kick up the arse not a public hanging that should be reserved for the referee who was shockingly bad.

As Warnock said I need to grow to grab him by the scruff he's a big lad

He showed some passion and that's a good thing.

He lost it cause he believed quite rightly that a fellow professional tried to injure him but that's not passion just a lack of self control I'm afraid.

It was bad and you can't sugar coat that, everyone gets fouled and gets on with it.. he is a centre back not a 9 stone soaking wet winger.

He lost his discipline and will be deserved to be punished, he's lucky we didn't lose that game.. Calling that passion when we down the bottom fighting for points to get out of this rot.. logic.

Size doesn't matter with a challenge like that. Cowards challenge and one that infuriates players as it could be a leg breaker.

Just watched it again and it does look bad, he needs to apologise quickly, 3 match ban waiting for him, maybe 4 games. :ayatollah:

Bamba is a Bluebird and one with lots of passion - red mist that's all it was - move on :bluescarf:

Yeah but there is no need to lose your discipline in them situations, especially when you are away from home drawing 1-1.

Challenges happen even stupid ones, just get on with it.. losing your rag ain't gonna make the ref change his mind if he hasn't made a call.

That's easy to say in retrospect.

Bamba is playing for a wage and a contract and busting to make a difference.

Having a bad day and then that challenge flipped him out.
Players can get badly injured by shite challenges like that and lose their careers.

That's it. He has been very stupid, he lost it. Should be banned
The Ref and the other player get nothing though.

See you soon Sol - keep the fight in you belly butty, we need the passion :bluebird:

Why should anyone hang Bamba? Good on the lad showing some passion. Connolly or Manga will fill in nicely, and let's hope it contagious!

Warnock had to grab him to stop him getting at the 4th official. Can't see it was passion though he just lost his head 100%. His reaction against Villa to Lambert substitution was a warning sign he was gonna blow up over something and boy he did.
Hope he comes back better with his head straight this time :bluebird:
