Thats shocking. They have always been the same.
Dont like having a go at the club for the saks of it but they have always failed with this sort of thing.
I bet that retail park is packed with Christmas shoppers today, surely they should ne tapping into that.

Silly question but if at club yesterday why not ask if open on Sunday? Considering shop is not normally open on Sunday thought it was obvious thing to do?

Been working in retail for 10 years and think every shop in the country should be closed on Sundays like they used to be.
People have families so well done the club

Not sure if it would be viable anyway to open on a Sunday with online shopping available. Very limited market!

Not sure I agree with you there Allan, drive to any retail park between now and Christmas on a Sunday and you will see they are absolutely packed out with shoppers, why shouldn't the club tap into that market.

That's another debate to be fair, for every person who think's your way there are others who hold a different opinion on both sides of the coin, workers and employers alike.
In this day and age many businesses need to be open on Sunday's to survive and likewise the employment it brings to people who are able to work it,
I don't mean to sound harsh, but that's retail and if the job doesn't suit find something else, no job is perfect and nobody forces you into it.

Yes retail parks i agree on but would the amount of trade at club shop be viable that's the question after all its a very niche market and 98% of people getting city items would get on match day or go online ? Besides there is 6 other days to shop as well.

6 other days to shop? not for most people Allan, hence why Sunday hours are so popular, Saturday and Sunday are the only 2 days most people can shop, hence why retail parks and supermarkets are thriving whilst our 9-5 high streets are on the bones of their arse.
On a side note, the online shop is terrible.

Yes Sunday is important but is it for club shop? Obviously not as closed! Never shopped online always use the shop on match days or when in town. Going back to original OP was much easier to fone or ask shop about Sunday opening rather than going on day its normally closed
