With a good striker city could have won today

To be honest before the game I thought we could be in for a pasting and even warnock said Brighton were the
Strongest team in the championship , but although they played well , they did nt look that good , with a couple of good players
Like a striker and someone who could boss the midfield we could have comfortably won this match .

I said the same thing thought Brighton weren't that good

Very likely that we would have won today with a good striker!

"We could have" or "we should have" are words we see on this forum after every single game we draw or lose. I expect supporters of every other side say exactly the same thing. It's what we did, not would we nearly did that counts, and we are where we are because only one side has been consistently poorer than us so far this season.

Not a fan of Fred at all but we created virtually nothing all game. If we'd created a hatful of decent chances and had failed to put them away then I could see the argument but we didn't.

Any striker playing for us today, even Messi or Ronaldo, would have been feeding off scraps.

Thought Fred done much better today,but no chances for him.
