We need to remember that even though the players are closer to whats going
on than we are, they probably felt just as excited about TG coming on board
as we did (if not more so, he was going to pay their wages and give then a bit
of security too)
Wembley, nearly 40,000 City fans, all the emotion, the heartbreak... the players
felt much like us and were probably chomping at the bit to get stuck in again!!
Same as the rest of us were!
Suddenly Ledley goes, another embargo, wages late yet again, more threats of
being wound up, more problems paying the tax bill.....
If I had a choice of
supporting another Club I'd f**k off now
But I dont, I'm in it for the duration, and If City ever did go bust I'd turn my back
on football forever. Serious. One true love and all that!
But the players aint City fans at the end of the day, over the course of a few years
you may get one or two who get Cardiff City in the blood, but in this day and age
with loyalty a thing of the past?.... They'll got where they can get more money, and
where they think their jobs (and wages) are secure
