Big club= huge away following- dont know why we didnt give them 5k tickets, they would of easily sold them and the extra money from 2,8oo tickets at £24 would of comfortably paid for us to have a look at o'SULLIVAN for another year-im sure we would of had room

No surprise at all. It's Villa not a mediocre championship club, new ground for them and not far to travel. They would have enjoyed the atmosphere we took to villa park. With the date, the club and a full away support this will be our biggest ever championship attendance.

Villa one of the biggest clubs in the country, no surprise. If it were 6k + allocation they would have snapped it up. Only approx 100 miles down the road. They might take 3-4k to the Geordies.

It's not a NEW ground for Villa. Theu played here in the top flight three years ago.

They are just a big club and if CCFC had any brains they's give them 5,000 tickets and make some cash.

I would imagine it would be SWOB and WMOB that would be more against it than the Club tbh.

I can't understand why any OB would want to reduce an allocation? There is no threat of trouble whatsoever. I did notice that your allocation at ours last week was reduced by around 4 or 500, which makes no sense to me.

Personally, I never want away fans to have bigger allocations than needed because the bigger the support, the more it helps your opponents.

If there is one criticism I have about this division is that teams can charge what the want. You are right down near the cheapest at £24. Norwich are charging £40 for an away ticket for a match that is live on Sky on a Tuesday night, the week before Christmas. Sheffield Wednesday charged £48 an away ticket and sold around 4,700, bringing in just under a quarter of a million in away ticket sales alone, excluding what was spent in tickets.

Outrageous prices, Yes the Police reduced our allocation at your place by 400 tickets which was wrong when all other clubs get a min of 2,800 tickets.
