Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is receiving interest from Championship clubs Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic, according to ESPN.
The 23-year-old, who has signed a new deal with the Red Devils since Mourinho’s arrival, is third-choice goalkeeper at Old Trafford with David De Gea and Sergio Romero keeping him out of the squad.
A loan move in January could be extremely beneficial to the young goalkeeper’s career as he has not played a professional game since January.
