Bristol Rovers chairman Steve Hamer has suggested to The Scottish Sun that the club could part company with Matty Taylor in the January transfer window.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are among a number of clubs interested in signing Taylor.
Championship trio Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers are also claimed to be interested in the 26-year-old striker.
It has been reported that the striker has a buy-out clause of less than £1 million.

Rovers chairman Hamer has suggested that the League One outfit could be open to parting company with Taylor.
“If there is a deal on the table that is good for the football club and good for the player then it is something you have to consider if and when that situation arises,” Hamer told The Scottish Sun.
“But Matty has recently signed a new contract and selling him in the January window is the last thing on our minds at the moment.”
From Hamer’s comments, it seems that Rovers are open to selling Taylor in the January transfer window, but only if they are offered a good fee.

Rangers chairman Dave King recently told The Glasgow Evening Times that manager Mark Warburton will be given funds in January in order to reinforce his squad.
Taylor is a good striker, but would he be able to step up from League One in England to the Scottish Premiership?
Rangers won automatic promotion from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premiership at the end of last season.
