Got to be Andy Murray who wins it for 2016.
Team of the year - The Welsh football team will be in the top 3,but i think they will give it to the Olympic squad.

It'll be the 1966 world cup winning team that gets ToTY. The BBC have been making such a fuss about it throughout the year it wouldn't surprise me

2 things are certain - firstly, Bale has absolutely no chance of winning the main award. Secondly, a team from 1966 will not win the 2016 team award. Murray is a shoe in for the main title ( with Farah 2nd ). Team will either go to Leicester City - or more probably the GB Olympic and Paralympic teams.

Sarcasm doesn't come across well on the internet. I was joking about the fact that the BBC sport journalists were practically creaming themselves that the anniversary was this year. For a couple of months there would be a new article every day about the 1966 WC.
They even had a fake live text updates for all the games as if they were going on at that time.
I agree that Bale will definitely not win but I reckon Leicester might take TOTY
