" Transfer Comitee "

This better be scrapped from Tan/Dalman\Choo its whats really put us in this position at the moment and I have a feeling they have realised it and will let Warnock to do the recruiting.

i think most clubs have a sort of transfer committee. the term has in my view been over used at our club because Tan was trying to make a point about the goings on of our window prior to the prem not happening again.
Tan,Choo and Dalman didnt come up with Alex Ravell did they? so id imagine manager input has been quite high throughout but expect it to be even more with NW

Couldn't disagree more. We may have signed some duffers since the Committee came into existence but they pale when compared with expensive shit we signed before that. For Christ sake do you really want another Andreas Cornelius @ a cost of £8m and £45kpw?

They havent signed championship quality players in offensive positions just cheap belgian exports and I would trust Warnock to bring in the right players on the right money and Malky seems he wasnt the brightest tool in the box when it came to transfers.

Zohore springs to mind a raw striker that needs time to develop.

I would be happy to wait for that,,,,but our current league position suggests we haven't got the luxury of that time!

Zohore needs to go out on loan but whilst staying in the English or Scottish league systems. League one or a Lower scottish Prem side.

any transfer committee policy must be judged over the long term. a couple of bad windows these days and you are out, without waiting to see if players develop.

4 years ago, people were lambasting tottenhams transfer committee for wasting money. now they have a number of talented young players worth huge amounts. most people think short term in football, i.e. from year to year, or even window to window.

i am minded to give an experienced manager like warnock the ability to sign players, but the reality is that he will make errors. the modern game is so demanding of managers that its becoming increasingly difficult for them to take an active role in recruitment.
