Fighting at Villa

Sun Nov 27, 2016 7:54 am

Not seen that much at a game in a long time. Villa charged out of the holte end exit into Cardiff men went toe to toe until eventually villa ran back into their ground.

Little scraps going off left right and centre then fighting outside the train station.

Villa fans were giving it the big one, behind the old bill outside,City fans went straight through the old bill and the cowards fucked of.

What worries me at the interval City fans were fighting each other on the concourse, mainly valleys, their were some coming back up to seats covered in claret, well out of order :o

My Scottish mate who was on lower tier said city fans were fighting each other loads throughout the game. When fan head was split open and taken away for treatment. He said it was mostly pissed up fans.

Just imagine now asking the powers that be for some seating to be made available to improve the banter and atmosphere at home fixtures.

Exactly, and the authorities probably justified with the early ko time against Bristol away.

I said be fighting after game about 60 mins in to game, you can just tell sometimes. Everybody tanked up, some families but in general it was mainly lads yesterday. Reminded me a little of away trips back in the day, had that edge about it. City had a lot of youngsters. Fair play.

Worst problem I saw in the ground was Whittinghams wife ( or so I was told it was), telling me myself and my lad were in her seats, everyone laughed as she clearly doesn't know the unwritten rules, but I happily let her have them and myself and my lad moved back a row.
She then decided she wanted to move somewhere else and without a thank you just scuttled off.

Disrespectful to the people who keep her in the life of luxury she has.

Sad to hear of trouble again, particularly amongst our fans.
Can't even blame it on the rebrand any more

Seen a group of villa fans being tossers outside the city's coaches car park. They'd done something to a city fan in a wheelchair who was absolutely raging. It all quiet down and thèn when it got around the corner outside their pub a couple of the villa fans got a good pasting. City called it on with a fair few villa fans who were outside the pub but they didn't want to know.

I agree with the poster above you could sense there was going to be some sort of trouble, shame really.

I just can't take people from Wales saying such like as ''claret'' and ''old bill''. Why the pretence? Be happy in your own identity, stop trying to be something you are not.

bill was welsh, originally young bill,Tontegs first policeman who also liked both claret wine and being a bit heavey handed making arrests so that pple never knew if it was blood or spilt wine.
seriously. are there welsh equivalents? are they patented? or is it just a matter of reading the posts in a valley accent and not the dick van dyke accent

Still plenty of Neanderthals about. And some on here wonder why the powers that be won't change the CSS configuration.

not defending the trouble yesterday but the reality is the Villa police will regard this as one of those occasions every season things dont go as planned.{villa fans were fighting too}
we on the other hand will have more restricted allocations. kick off times moved.match days moved. rv points.bubble trips.travel club meetings.extra police overtime yum yum etc etc.
if you think any other clubs fans put up with this please supply some evidence

Dogfound. I have said nothing about the rights or wrongs of how City fans are treated. Reality is unfortunately we still have our share of numskulls, mostly tanked up on alcohol. Like the majority of fans of my age I would love to take my Grandson to a match without the risk of these idiots spoiling it.

Re: Fighting at Villa

What's Very Sad to read is CITY fans Fighting CITY fans and what I've now been told it was quite vicious and it happened more than just once yesterday,

its a lot lot better than it was , our club has moved on more than most if not all so its a bit gutting then that we still get treated unfairly.
was at the whu v spurs game at WHL last year, much more trouble than yeasterday including stabbings.this year no restrictions, KO was moved purely for TV. my grump is not that hooligans should be encouraged, more that our improved behaviour be rewarded just by being treated like every other club

They got their rewards mate, I seen it from across the road, they carried on chopsing the man in the wheelchair without realising they were surrounded by a few cardiff old heads, they went down the road and got just what they deserved. Absolute cowards.
