Gareth Bale has offered a message of encouragement to his fans regarding his injured ankle
Initial estimates suggest the powerful forward will be out for around four months, ruling him out of the upcoming Clasico with Barcelona indefinitely and also making him a major doubt for Wales' crucial World Cup qualifier against Republic of Ireland on March 24.

And now the superstar himself has taken to social media to deliver a message to fans and offer reassurance.

Using his Twitter account Bale uploaded an image of his heavily supported right ankle at an elevated angle.
