ON POLICE ADVICE CARDIFF CITY'S BIG DERBY GAME CHANGED

Cardiff City kick-off brought forward

BRISTOL CITY V CARDIFF CITY

Time change for January derby fixture
Ashton Gate to host Severnside clash on January 14th 2016
Game will now begin at midday on Police advice

The kick-off time for Bristol City’s Severnside derby clash with Cardiff City has been brought forward.

Ashton Gate will play host to the Sky Bet Championship encounter on Saturday, January 14th, which will now begin at midday, rather than 3pm.

The kick-off change comes following a request from the Police.

The match will be Gold category, with tickets on sale to Forever Bristol members from 10am on Monday (November 28th).

City will be looking to defeat their South Wales rivals after succumbing to a 2-1 defeat live on TV earlier this season at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Sadly very true, our police even let Bristol fans in to our City 5 hours before kick off and drink in Canton.

From what I have been told, this is nothing to do with us. It's been changed on police advice because of the Bristol fans who have had quite a bit of trouble at 2 or 3 home games this season

Always guna happen despite bristol getting free run last time. And that's also despite the fact they caused a shit load of trouble in the old monk a few years ago. So how can the police look at themselves here and say it's fair?

its not fair, hasnt been for years.
Bristol played Reading away yesterday with a 3 o clock kick off ,only 75miles ,their 2nd nearest away game, and a fixture that has seen trouble in the past.the missing denominator in that fixture was our police force.
