My view is we have to stand up for our values. Enough is enough FIFA are the most corrupt organisation in sport.

These bunch of pricks were the scurge of football not so long ago,all of a sudden they seem to think they can dictate what the average, normal, respecting fan can wear to a game as close to armatice day as that.
Stand up now!!!

Its precisely what you get from a bureaucratic out of touch organisation that appears to elect itself. Much like the EU.
Absolute power corrupts. Russia and Qatar still have the World Cups even after the 'reformation' of FIFA after Blatter. And to show how much its still dysfunctional, we now have poppygate whilst FIFA do 'FA' about slave labour deaths in Qatar. And they still ignore the Russian bent bid which is on their backburner.
Another bloated, corrupt, bureaucratic, out of touch gravytrain regime much like the EU that needs to be reformed and which will take a couple of leading football nations to walk away from the doomed private party before its reformed.

FIFA - Need to get their own house in order before making more stupid decisions

While I understand the crux of this poll isn't it a bit premeditated? FIFA announced they are investigating for all we know FIFA may turn around next week and say Wales/Ireland have no case to answer.

To be honest, as long as there's muffs, tits and coal-holes I'm generally happy with the world. MTC.

The guys who gave the ultimate sacrifice in all wars gave there lives so that we could be free to do as we wanted,if FIFA thinks this is political then they need to get there heads out of there backsides going to Russia and Qatar stinks of corruption at the highest level.

So FIFA are now trying to say what fans can wear at the match. FIFA should be f*cking horsewhipped the corrupt bunch of twats
Thu Nov 24, 2016 10:01 am
so all that bullshyt people kicking off as players weren't wearing poppies etc has backfired anyway.
Cant do right for doing wrong. Stand up and front it all the way.
Even though I wasn't one of those making a song and dance about the poppy brigade, to have FIFA investigating is total nonsense and all countries need to make a stand...

No this isn't the case at all. The FIFA delegate at the match has submitted a report about what happened at the game and FIFA have opened a case to look into his reportings.
For all we know FIFA may turn around and say 'no case to answer"

The poppy is political. That much is undeniable.

the poppy has never been political, never will be for the huge majority.
its a symbol of rememberance for those injured and killed in horific conflicts.many other countries have symbols, national days, bank holidays to remember unpleasant events in their histories
what is undeniable is that there are those that will see agendas conspiracies and subliminal messages in absolutely anything and everything.
how the hell can anyone take offence at or see as political a country any country wanting to remember those who died or were injured fighting in good faith {rightly or wrongly} for their nation ?
nothing is allowed to be straight forward or respectful anymore

For some who,say the Poppy is Political !! How ? What Party does it represent ? Does it represent the Left or the right or the Centre ? It always reminds me of the sacrifice our armed forces has suffered in wars I agree with or even disagree with.
