Michael Chopra and Robbie Fowler will both play at Cardiff City Stadium

Kevin McNaughton has revealed the first raft of Cardiff City legends who will be appearing at his testimonial match.

'Kevin's XI' will be taking on a 'rest of the world' team at the Cardiff City Stadium on March 26 next year, and the cult hero has already signed up some mouthwatering names for the occasion.

The first names are:

Robbie Fowler
Stephen McPhail
Darren Purse
Jay Bothroyd
Michael Chopra

Bothroyd and Chopra have most recently been playing in Japan and India but have jumped at the chance to line up with their former team-mate.

The full line up is set to be revealed in January, with a stellar line-up promised.

McNaughton has announced that his testimonial year will be in partnership with thy Ty Hafan children's hospice.

A very worthwhile cause, they need to promote this IMO, think they will get a much bigger take up if people know it's for charity
