Stewards provoking City fans

Stewards on major power trips down the Cardiff City stadium,won't stop hassling fans

Going around telling people including kids to take their feet of the backs of chairs.

dragging City fans out,not allowed to even speak back

Little men with no social life, shit jobs get a little taste of power on weekend as they earn their minimum wage because they can't afford season tickets.

Yet another reason for not going feck me football used to be somewhere to go to let off steam after working all week,if l wanted to sit down and be quiet I'd go to church

Got stopped on way into ground whats under your coat .Nothing mate its a padded jacket ,you cant go in unless you open your coat its company policy.

I saw someone pinned against gates by 5 or 6 stewards. They asked him to open his pockets as they thought he was dealing drugs. Saw gates open and out he went. Not sure if he was nicked or not. If he was dealing I hope he was nicked and gets sent down. If he wasn't then I apologise.

funny how people point their fingers towards 'drugs' for violent behavior when the drug alcohol is responsible for 75% of violent incidents in the UK.

Well done to the stewards the guy was on drugs in the stand giving it the big one to the stewards they were reasonable and didn't go in hard the guy was mouthing them off without them biting , city's a better place without this mong

Trying to look like a big guy getting kicked out most were laughing at him as he was trying to wriggle out of the stewards

I have a friend who's brother and him sit in ninian, one match my friends brother shouted "the refs a c*nt". Compared to the other words said on that day it was probably more of a compliment than anything. However, the steward decided to come up and get into his face, when my friends brother told the steward to lower his tone and get out of his face the steward decided to grab my friends brother, plant his face on the stairs and take him out for arrests, baring in mind my friends brother isn't mentally fully stable with numerous conditions affecting his anger and learning. Power hungry bastards

The Stewards down CCS act like the Gestapo, when asked why they wanted me to open my jacket, I was met with a blank look and "I've been told to ask you to" Only obeying orders!!! I asked Wayne Nash why and he said it was a requirement for Uefa after the Paris Bombings, yet I been to many grounds since the bombings and just walked past the stewards. If they were checking for explosives etc. fireworks are explosives, so it would appear that they didn't do a very good job when we played Bristol City

It is interesting that if a Police officer was to approach me in the street and ask to look inside my coat, (or search me), he would have to give a reason and then give me a written record of the search, the reason for it, etc. yet the stewards down at CCS appear top think they are beyond the law and they can do what they want. hiding behind the ground regulations

It would appear to me that to be a Steward, you have to have all logic removed from your brain. When asking people to sit down. logic says you start with the front row, not at CCS, you start with the 5th row from the front and all you then do is wind up those fans. If the fans in front of me are standing, then there is no way I'm going to sit down and not see the game.

Some stewards are ok. but unfortunately I have recently found that some are rude, abusive and behave like trumped up little Hitlers who appear to have no social skills in dealing with us, the fans, who are also the customers of Cardiff City. If my wife, who worked in a supermarket was to deal with customers the way CCS stewards deal with us, then she would find her self very quickly out of a job.

I've seen almost every game at the CSS since it opened and have sat in several parts of the ground. Never had any problem with stewards. Am I the only one?

Most stewards are fine down the Ccs , but last season against Leeds we were sat in the family stand right next to the Leeds fans
There was a middle aged steward chatting to Leeds fans , just by us 2 teenage city fans were just having a bit of banter with the Leeds fans nothing nasty just a laugh , this steward came marching over got in their faces and told them to shut the f**k up
They protested to the steward and it got heated , then a copper got involved .
The situation could have escalated because people around the teenagers were sticking up for them , there was just no need for the heavy handed tactics of this steward .

And telling pensioners (me) to open anoraks in case they have offensive articles underneath. In fairness I spoke with the steward who was somewhat apologetic but said he had to.

Another occasion this season I had a 25 yr old female steward seeking to open zips in a small shoulder bag of mine instead of allowing me to do it.

I'd write to Choo but I'm still awaiting a reply to a letter I wrote to him last April.

How have we fallen as a Club in recent times.
