Cheers Liam, quite good support, seen as they are on a bad run and they don't travel that far in big numbers.
We prob would of only taken that nowadays and I would of said it was poor support

Come on Annis, if that was us we would be getting hung drawn and quartered. Huddersfield are historicaly on a par if not bigger than us in terms of history and crowds.
600 is a shocker.

I've virtually said that, but they are def not a bigger club than us, in fact they are surrounded by numerous clubs and have not had success in the top flight football for prob 30-40 years.
We are talking about Huddersfield, not a massive club and 700 are expected,so not that bad.
Hudders last 6 games, won 2 drawn 1 lost 3.
I don't expect them up there come May.
Really though with that position, prob 1,000 should be coming

Annis is spot on, they have never been a bigger club than city not in a million years. I did expect more tomorrow given their upturn in fortunes this season, what I will say is and I said it before nobody travels to Cardiff. Didn't in old days don't now. Am sure I seen them travel well only recently, how many did they take to Fulham? Sadly for whatever reason going to city doesn't appeal. Before somebody says " no banter with fans " have you ever been to Fulham or other grounds these days? Lucky to get one song.

Lads, there have been many times through history where Huddersfield have been a far bigger club than Cardiff even as recently as the mid 90's.
Over history, both club's are about on a par in terms of crowds, in terms of success they piss all over us.
Those are the facts I'm afraid.

I remember when it was between us and them for promotion from the old third division, but it was so long ago thats all i can remember.

Disagree with that, not in my days of watching football anyhow which started late eighties. Granted we have been in the lower divisions and if ur basing it on hardcore fans then you have an argument, but city for whatever reason have always had a massive floater fan base if that's the modern word. You know, the lads who will do 4 or 5 games or the big ones. It's no different now, a successful city team would sell four times a Huddersfield. Small town in Yorkshire and the fan base can only reach a certain amount, only a few years ago we had over 350,000 on our database.

I can remember when they pissed the league (old div 2) in 69/70 to get to the top flight, good side they had back then, they beat us home and away that season, and we had a decent side back then.

Couldn't give a shit if they bring 1 or 10,000 so long as we send them home with nil points I will be a happy fucker

This. 3pts today is all that matters.

We're probably a bigger club in terms of attendances, but as far as winning things, they're bigger than us hands down. Three League titles between 1924/26 puts that argument to bed. We should have won the League ahead of them in 1924, but the great Len Davies missing a penalty at Birmingham put paid to that and they beat us to the title on Goal Average.

Your right 3pts are what mTtera at the end of the day, but why open or even comment on a topic about away fans? Some of us love talking about crowds
