Neil Warnock on what he can achieve with Cardiff City

Neil Warnock: "If I get a pre-season I think I can get promotion with anybody."

"First you fight your way to a respectable position. The work is done in the summer and at the end of the season I think, January is a very difficult window. We won’t sign players for the sake of it."

"I think we’re very capable of putting a run together, but I do feel it’s crucial we get two major positions sorted out early doors [January]."

"Looking at the Championship it’s wide open, I know Newcastle will walk away with it but it’s open otherwise. I’m disappointed really I was hoping I’d have a summer to work with a club and to start from scratch."
