The Wales National Football team observed the Two Minute Silence for Armistice Day ahead of training at Cardiff City Stadium today (11 November).

Two hundred military personnel were also in attendance as poppy wreaths were laid on the pitch before a bugler performed the Last Post in impeccably observed silence.

The Wales U19 Squad also paid their respects at their team base in North Wales, where they're preparing to play England on Saturday in Bangor in the UEFA U19 Championship qualifiers.

The Wales Senior Squad were at Cardiff City Stadium preparing for tomorrow's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Serbia.

Prior to kick off, a mosaic depicting the poppy be will unveiled by Wales supporters in the Family Stand and the players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect throughout the match.

But it's not enough! We are not TRULY remembering the dead unless we observe the national football side put ready made black armbands with a superimposed image of a red poppy on their sleeves! Signed: Outraged, Bridgend
