If Wales defied this rule they'd be acting very hypocritically. The FAW, along with the English FA, Scottish FA and Irish FA (i.e. Northern Ireland, not the ROI), are part of IFAB (the body that determines the laws of the game). This rule is therefore not one created by FIFA, but IFAB. FIFA are merely applying the laws of the game in its role as the governing body.

What a ridiculous and wildly over the top post. We haven't kow-towed to FIFA. FIFA are merely applying a rule which was drawn up by IFAB, which consists of FIFA and the four British FAs. So if Wales were to defy that rule, they'd be acting in a very hypocritical way. England and Scotland are defying it, which makes them massive hypocrites.

We haven't let anyone down, least of all England and Scotland. As usual, England tried to cajole the other home nations into standing by them when, when the agenda doesn't suit them, they are usually quite happy to turn their backs on us.

I for one am glad that the FAW haven't caved in over this nonsense.
