More information about transport for Saturdays game with Serbia.
The FAW have spoken with Arriva trains and are hopeful continued talks can improve the rail service for Welsh football fans in the future, especially those up North.
What has been agreed is that the 21.54 train to Hereford will now leave Cardiff Central station at the later time of 22.12 pm. This will assist fans needing to get to Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Abergaveny and Hereford.
It should also be noted that no trains heading north or heading towards the valleys will be picking up at Ninian Park or Grangetown stations. Fans needing those trains need to get to Cardiff Central. There are free buses available from the stadium, double deckers opposite the statue, that will be leaving for the station after the match to assist fans or it is a 15-20 minute walk.

I didn't realise until yesterday that the egg game doesn't kick off until half five. It'll be chaos in Cardiff particularly at Central station.

It's going to be an absolute nightmare on the trains, there'll be plenty of empty seats in the stadium. I know loads of tournament season ticket holders from the Valleys who are not bothering.
