OPINIONS SHOULD THESE TWO PLAYERS BE PLAYING IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE?
There is a talented squad to work with though and here are 2 players that should be playing in the Premier League.

ANTHONY PILKINGTON
The talented Irish winger has been one of Cardiff’s better players in the Championship since last season, consistently supplying excellent service down the right side.
Pilkington was key to Cardiff finishing 8th last season scoring 9 goals and getting plenty of assists and has 3 goals already this season.
Also with Rickie Lambert up front Pilkington has a talented striker to assist and he is a similar player to Norwich’s Robbie Brady.
BRUNO ECUELE MANGA
The Gabonese international is one of the most underrated centre backs in the Championship.
Last season Cardiff were poor in front of goal but only conceded 51 goals which was amongst the lowest in the division.

Two seasons ago, Manga won the Player of the Season award.
It’s the same story for Cardiff this year with just 9 goals but they have only conceded 14 with Manga forming a solid partnership with either Sol Bamba or Sean Morrison.
Cardiff fans – do you agree with these two suggestions? Do you risk losing them in January?

Pilkington a good Champiobship player, No for Prem.
Manga, quality on his day, but not consistent and makes to many mistakes. So it's a no.

I believe they could both play premier league given the right clubs especially Manga. Yes he's made mistakes but what centre back doesn't?
I've been away but have read that Bamba was at fault for both our goals recently for example.
Manga is class and would improve no end in the Prem.

Guys, I have to say I was shocked when I first saw both names mentioned (I expected to see Bamba and not sure which other 
) but then I thought about it and the author may have a point on both
Pilks is not a bad player in his own position and it will be interesting to see what occurs when we get a decent strike force and he can return to doing what he does best
Manga, despite his recent 'issues' off the field, is a class act when he is on his game and I think his style may well suit the Premier League better than The Championship in a similar way to the 'relaxed' style of Danny Gabbidon at his peak

A lot of Championship players have the potential to step up to the PL. The secret is getting and maintaining a chance to do so. Wayne Routledge is a classic example and someone who could be directly compared to Anthony Pilkington.
WR after flattering to deceive in the early years of his career happened to be with that lot down west at just the right moment. With a mixture of luck and some good judgement JB's have survived 5 seasons at PL level and WR got his chance to shine and thrive against all the evidence of his early career.
Given the same circumstances I could see AP doing at least as well if not better.
