Italian side Fiorentina are putting into place their transfer plans for the winter, with a central midfielder at the forefront of their thinking.

It is now being reported in Italy that one of the names being considered is that of West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang.

Swansea City are prepared to offload Bafetimbi Gomis in the January transfer window as French clubs step up their interest in the striker.

The 31-year-old forward is currently on a season-long loan with Ligue 1 outfit Marseille and has impressed after after netting seven times in 12 appearances for the French club.
