Recent years have shown us that plenty of players from the lower divisions of English football can make their way to the very top.
Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is obviously the most notable one, along with the likes of Burnley’s Andre Gray, Newcastle’s Dwight Gayle, Watford’s Troy Deeney or Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and England international Dele Alli.
Cardiff City haven’t had a great start to their season but the form since Neil Warnock’s appointment has been steadier.
Cameron McGeehan has impressed many scouts this season following his impressive start to the campaign, helping Luton Town to 4th in League Two.
The 21-year-old is an impulsive attacking midfielder who is on track to being a Premier League player one day in the future.

He has that instinct to look for a killer pass through the defence and put a striker one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
McGeehan definitely has the potential to develop into a real star.
The former Northern Ireland under-21 has arguably been the Hatters’ player of the season so far having provided goals and assists almost every week.
Cardiff City need to sign someone of his potential and ability.
I also think he may help Neil Warnock’s side if he was signed in January as they need a player who is hungry and wants to enjoy his football so he may be the person who gets them out of a relegation scrap.
